Withington Manor Horse Trials
Usually the last weekend of April, Withington Manor Horse Trials is regarded as one of the most spectacular one-day event venues in the United Kingdom, which takes place on Withington Estate i. All disciplines, dressage, show Jumping and cross country take place on an elevated part of the estate overlooking the beautiful Cotswold landscape.
Spectators are within walking distance of all the action and are able to walk up to each of the fences and watch at close hand how the riders and their horses tackle them.
On account of the degree of difficulty offered, Pony Championship, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced competition, and the event’s reputation as a venue offering the highest degree of difficulty across all disciplines, many of the top riders in eventing make the trip to Withington every year. It is not unusual to see best in the sport competing here.
The cross country courses are designed around a viewing area with rustic benches from which at least 7 jumps are visible at each level of competition. For more information, see link below or click here.
